A New Tomorrow Adult Recovery

Adult Inpatient Treatment Centre Services

A New Tomorrow is a multidisciplinary treatment center offering adult in-patient treatment. Nestled in the beautiful North Thompson Valley in Canada’s only desert climate, Kamloops is home to A New Tomorrow. Treatment is open to adults from all walks of life and is a co-ed facility.

Through a biopsychosocial (biological, psychological, social) and spiritual lens, our dedicated team of addiction specialists incorporate a client-centered approach to treatment services. We treat the individual and offer support and information to their loved ones. Our interdisciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, counsellors, social workers, and addictions workers specializing in recovery. Staff are on site 24 hours a day. The full range of treatment services and amenities are available for $45.00 per day.
We offer a beautiful, welcoming environment where the uniqueness of each person is valued and clients are treated with compassion, understanding and acceptance. Every effort is made to protect and support the physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional safety of our clients. A New Tomorrow is committed to offering culturally safe, individually tailored treatment planning through a trauma informed lens where clients receive support in meeting their treatment goals in our six week program.

Overwhelming evidence shows that involving loved ones, families and community creates opportunity for sustainable recovery. Increasing positive interactions between the client and their existing support networks allows for greater relapse prevention strategies ultimately reducing relapse risk. Our aim is to integrate every aspect of the person into treatment planning while simultaneously engaging the client’s identified supports. We support each individual in developing tools for success in their treatment journey as they prepare to transition from our care.
Applications are reviewed by the Intake Coordinator and the clinical team. Contact will be made with the potential client/family for additional information that might be needed. Every effort is made to provide a treatment placement including referrals to other facilities if A New Tomorrow does not have bed availability or the Intake Assessment identifies that A New Tomorrow is unable to meet the specific needs of the applicant. Clients are required to be abstinent from substances for 7 days prior to admission. A New
Tomorrow can facilitate connection to detox or other withdrawal services if required.

A New Tomorrow is committed to deconstructing the stigmatizing myth of the moral model of addiction and rather educates and applies a comprehensive medical, holistic treatment paradigm. Our mission is to support clients to heal and restore the most basic and most important unit of society – family.
